Historical Square Tuning Key

⚠️ THIS IS PROBABLY NOT THE KEY YOU WANT UNLESS YOU HAVE A VERY UNUSUAL BANDURA. Most people will want the standard Bandura Tuning Key.

Some older banduras, especially non-factory instruments from before the 1980s, used homemade tuning pins with non-standard sizes. The tuning keys for these banduras were typically custom-made by the builder, which can make it nearly impossible to find the right key for them.

This tuning key provides 10 sizes, so you should be able to find one which works for your bandura!

NOTE: This key only works for square shaped heads. Some older instruments used rectangular heads – we do not currently offer keys for these.

• 3 – 3.00 mm
• 4 – 3.25 mm
• 5 – 3.50 mm
• 6 – 3.75 mm
• 7 – 4.00 mm
• 8 – 4.25 mm
• 9 – 4.50 mm
• 10 – 4.75 mm
• 11 – 5.00 mm
